The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in an LA Car Crash
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in the state of California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The influential game designer died after his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his family, and all those touched by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
