Nearly twenty-five thousand households in south-east Queensland woke up lacking electricity on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems swept through the area, generating wind gusts hitting 109km/h.
Substantial Frozen Precipitation and Widespread Destruction
Locals reported substantial frozen pellets as large as 7cm in particular locations. Weather authorities announced that multiple regions across the state had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.
